Reviews and Ratings
The hotel exceeded my expectations with a room upgrade to what felt like a superior room, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure any minor issues were swiftly resolved. Although the air conditioning in one room didn't work throughout our stay, the exceptional cleanliness overshadowed any inconvenience. The central location was convenient, walking distance from both the train station and town center, and a later check-out made our day even better. However, the dining experience was overrated with high prices, and the breakfast was not worth the cost.
The hotel had pros like spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere, but it was noisy until the early hours due to banging doors from other guests and street noise. The ability to adjust the temperature and AC was a plus. However, the service was lacking, with stern interaction when using the lift and loud staff movements that caused room vibrations. The location was excellent for outlet shopping and dining options within a short walk, yet the dining experience fell short with slow replenishment of food and lack of crockery. Despite some downsides, the hotel offered good value for money.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were fully equipped and very nice, although there were some issues with the air conditioning. The staff were friendly and polite, but there were slight delays in getting assistance. The location was convenient, especially for exploring the town center. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel had a great location, convenient for travel, and was walking distance from the train station and the town centre. The rooms provided a good working atmosphere at night due to the quiet environment, although some noise from the corridors could be heard. The hotel facilities were comfortable, and the self-service dining area was nice.
The hotel rooms were nice, facing the front noise from the traffic was good, compact but really comfy. The service was very polite and extremely helpful, explaining everything from the rooms to breakfast and shopping tips. The location was well looked after, with friendly staff, although some signage could improve navigation. The dining experience was 'grab and go', but very good value with freshly cooked food available. The facilities were great overall.
The hotel suited our travel plans from London to Cardiff for the rugby game, though set up for one person despite our booking for two. It was clean and well-kept, but the location felt dark and cold at times.
